85cm x 60cm, Gouache, Paper, Fabrics |
This gouache painting includes collage technique: pieces of news paper (toned with gouache), magazine pages (pictures on wall, wood texture on planks), cotton fabric and hemp rope (on top of clay jug).
The work was executed in my new drawing class in two sessions.
I think you like this class and the class likes you!

DeleteIrina, all is well here. The storm barely touched us in Vermont. My daughter in New Hampshire received about two feet of snow, but she returned to work yesterday after having two days off. Some areas really took a hard hit but this time we were spared. Thank you for thinking of us. And thank you for posting your explorations in art. I truly savor each of your posts, amazed at your talent and your willingness to play with ideas.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Karen! And I am so glad you are OK.
DeleteI really like your collage. It's got a lot of dimensionality to it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol. Now I do not know where to store this huge (33" x 24") piece of art..))
DeleteThis one looks like it was fun to do!
ReplyDeleteI think that blue line in my photo is the school across the street from the ball field. That was the first time I ever saw geese in that field.
Thank you, Judy!
DeleteVery creative! Great results, Irina. I hope you will do lots more like this.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Christiane.
